The E70 is the latest BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). It replaced the BMW E53 in November 2006. BMW E70 BMW E53 Platform version as the basis for the X5. The E70-based X5 SAV offers many new technological developments, including standard iDrive system, BMW, and for the first time in a BMW, an optional third row of seats.
The current generation includes safety innovations for the crossover segment, how to protect a single frame rear section of the third-row occupants to injuries from a collision.
Branding for the X5 follows the end of 2008, a brand new model BMW, for example, the X5 xDrive 35d X5 3.0sd is now and 4.8 is i X5 xDrive 48I.
